Playing Catch.Up

Work has been ridiculously busy and I have had so much going on that I have fallen way behind on my blogging. So here I am- taking a few moments to do a quick follow up..

I am sure many of us watched the Golden Globes and couldn't wait for Joan Rovers and her "Fashion Police" comments... Here is a recap:

Awards Fashion Police: The 2011 Golden Globes
Joan Rivers hosts as E! recaps fashion do's and don'ts at this year's ceremony in this one-hour special. It will feature all of the styles from the Golden Globes awards.

DO NOT MISS IT:)

Here is my opinion regarding the show:
Kaley Cuoco's up-do did very little to compliment her tiered dress. The length of her extensions looked sloppy and not Golden Globe worthy.

Not to mention Michelle Williams in a dress by Valentino, not quite age appropriate and lacking the elegance seen at the Globes...

Big Congratulations to the cast of Glee, who all looked adorable and congratualations to Chris for his big win!!!
Similar to Lea Michele's pink dress, Emma Stone rocked new platinum blond locks and this[ slightly more salmon shade of] Pink!! Her hair[ naturally blond] makes her look just like the character she will be playing in the new Spider-Man film, based off of the original comic books! -- However, I feel a change in the neckline would have done wonders for the dress.. Being that it is somewhat simple to begin with, the casual crew neck - neck line is a bit too-casual for the G.Globes!
Emma's makeup, done by mark. Celbrity make-up artist Maie Quynh!!

Face:
Mai started by applying mark Calm & Composed Moisturizer all over the skin. Next, Mai applied mark Face Xpert in Honey with a foundation brush and put mark Good Riddance Concealer in Light/Medium around Emma’s nose and under her eyes and blended it with a concealer brush. The foundation was set with mark Powder Buff in Natural using a powder brush and mark Bronze Pro Powder in Pro Glow was dusted onto Emma’s cheeks, forehead and chin using a angled contour face brush. Mai then added mark Good Glowing Blush in After Glo on Emma’s cheeks with the angled contour face brush.
Eyes
Mai applied I-mark eyehadow in Biscotti to Emma’s inner eyelid and I-mark eyeshadow in Gioia to her middle and outer eyelid, from the lashline to her crease. An angled contour eyeshadow brush was used to blend Gioia into the crease of the eyelid. Mai then applied I-mark eyeshadow in Java along the upper lashline using the hookup eyeliner brush and smudged Gioia along the bottom lashline. To finish the eyes, two coats of mark Lash Splash Mascara in Black was used.
Lips
Mai applied mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Bare Hug on Emma’s lips! This shade looks great on all skin tones! Believe me, I am pale as can be and it is my favorite shade!!
